Membership

The Asanteman Europe Association is the umbrella of all Asante groups in Europe. Membership is open to all Asante groups in Europe.

However, the following criteria must be fulfilled. A prospective member group:

• Must be a registered Asante group in any European country (Non-registered
  Asante groups will be allowed to join but must provide their registration
  details within 6 months from the day of joining).

• Must have membership criteria which allows any Asante to join the group in
  question.

• May be an individual Asante Association or a group of Asante Associations
  joined as one within a city or country.

• May come from a city or country where we already have an individual
  Asante Association or a group of Asante Associations as member(s) of
  Asanteman Europe.

• Must have their primary objectives consistent with the objectives of
  Asanteman Europe Association.

• Must have its membership mainly as Asantes.

• Must have read and accepted this constitution.

• Shall fill and submit a completed membership application form together
  with their constitution, registration details, and membership data.

• Shall pay a registration fee to be determined by the Executive council and
  approved by the Board of Directors.

• Without any prejudice to the above clauses, the Executive Council reserves
  the right to reject the membership application of any prospective member
  group known to have objectives or activities which are inconsistent with
  the aims and objectives of this Association.

• The Executive Council further reserves the right to reject the membership
  application of any prospective member who has the potential to hinder the
  objectives and progress of Asanteman Europe.
